As Secretary and Programming Chair, she ensures mentees receive valuable guidance and develops curriculum to help them gain acceptance into dental school. Currently a dental student at Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso in the MPH/DMD program, Luma is an active member of SNDA, ADG, ASDA, and ADEA, and helped establish the SNDA Chapter at her school, which won five awards in its first year. Additionally, she is a dedicated mother to three boys.
