Committed to Diversity in Dentistry in Arizona: Our Inaugural Student Summit at Midwestern University!

We are excited to share that we expanded our Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit™ in Arizona with our Diversify Dentistry Student Summit at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine!

Our recent Student Summit at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine was a resounding success! Underrepresented pre-dental students experienced hands-on activities, including dental restoration, CAD/CAM technology, and the Simodont Dental Trainer. The day featured inspiring talks from dental professionals, a Q&A session, and concluded with an empowering White Coat Ceremony. This Summit reinforced our commitment to diversifying dentistry and supporting the next generation of dental professionals. NEW Panel & Social: SPEAR Education

Another new event DIDM is working hard to prepare for, in collaboration with SPEAR Education, is our inaugural Panel & Social. This is a chance for community dentists, pre-dental students, and dental students to socialize over food and listen to a panel of specialists at SPEAR’s state-of-the-art campus.

Community dentists…we need you to sign up and attend! You will not be able to understand the profound effect you will have for our students unless you speak with them in person.  They look up to you for guidance and support!

UPCOMING Youth Summits: UCLA and ATSU-ASDOH

   

October will be a busy month for DIDM! We are excited to share that we’re taking our Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit™ to the West Coast! The University of California, Los Angeles, will host our Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit for the first time.  In addition, we’re gearing up for our 3rd annual Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit at A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
