2024 EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

The Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit™ went national and expanded in Arizona!

Through the generous Delta Dental Institute Oral Health Diversity Fund, the support of the Benco Family Foundation and collaborations with the University of Missouri Kansas-City School of Dentistry, Midwestern College of Dental Medicine, UCLA University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry, and ATSU-ASDOH Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, we expanded our programs across the Nation.

MENTORSHIP

SPEAR Education continued their support of our mission by hosting our first mentorship event for dental students, the Panel & Social mixer.

Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit™

We believe our mission to diversify dentistry will expand its reach even further. Our Youth Summits leave a lasting impact on the lives of many underrepresented & under resourced students dreaming of becoming a dentist or oral health professional with your continued support.

We are excited to share we have completed Youth Summits hosted by University of Washington (UW), Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC)!

2025 Mentorship

Our webinars are interactive and informative—aimed to give students a networking platform and a source of information to help them become competitive dental school applicants.

Our Dental Specialty Webinar was a hit. We had over 8 dentist mentors as moderators and panelists, giving advice to dozens of eager mentees.

Mentees: 57 mentee sign ups since 1/1/2025

Mentors: 17 new mentors who have been matched with 40 mentees
As you can see, there are students wanting to become dentists. They just need guidance from a mentor who can help show them the way. Be the mentor you once needed.
